Terms of Service

The service

Synan builds a complete website for your business for the price shown in your order summary before you pay: a design made for you, up to 5 pages in one language, a .com domain name, hosting, and one email address under your business name with webmail, for the first year.

Add-ons (such as extra pages, a second language, a logo, or staff email addresses) are optional, and their price appears in the order summary before you pay.

Online booking and online stores are not part of this offer. Email works through webmail, and we do not set it up on your phone.

Ordering and payment

Prices are in US dollars and payment is made through Whish. You transfer the amount with the reference code we give you, then send us the transaction number or a photo of the receipt.

Your order is confirmed once we verify that the payment has arrived. If there is a problem with the payment, we will tell you why.

An order that is not paid within 14 days is closed, and you can start again at any time.

Start and delivery

Synan sets the start date, and we show it to you together with the expected delivery date before you pay. Your project takes the start date in effect at the time we confirm your payment.

We deliver your website within 5 business days (Monday to Friday) from the start date. Delivery means the website is ready to go live.

Days when we are waiting for you do not count toward this period: when the design or the preview is with you to approve or request changes, when we are missing information or files from you, or when we are waiting for your own domain to be connected or for a service you requested to be paid. The count resumes when you reply.

All the work happens through your account with us and on WhatsApp, with no meetings.

Design review

First we send you the style board for your website. You can approve it or request one round of changes.

The design review covers the big picture only: page layout, colours, fonts and overall style. It does not cover text and photos.

After you approve the design, you can still change text and photos in the preview review rounds.

Preview review

Then we send you a preview of the website. You can approve it or request up to two rounds of revisions.

The preview review covers content only: text and photos. Reopening the design you approved is not free of charge.

Once you have used your revision rounds, you can buy an extra round from your account. Its price is shown before you pay.

Feedback rules

Each round's feedback is sent as one message through your account, gathering everything you want changed.

We work from that message only. Any note sent after it, or on WhatsApp, counts toward the next round.

Revisions stay within what we built. Anything new requested during revisions, such as an extra page, feature or language, or a change to the design after you approved it, is a paid add-on, and its price is shown before you pay.

When we are waiting for you

We may wait for a reply from you at several stages: missing information or files, the design review, the preview review, connecting your own domain, or paying for the “Dabbrouha Anni” DNS-setup service if you requested it.

If 3 days pass without a reply, we send you a reminder.

If 7 consecutive days pass without any reply from you through your account, the project becomes “lapsed”. Work on it stops, and we do not refund the amount paid.

A lapse permanently cancels the money-back guarantee, even if you come back later.

You can come back at any time at no fee. Your project rejoins the queue with the next start date in effect on the day you return, and we calculate a new delivery date. Work resumes at the design review step, and the rounds you have used stay used.

When a project lapses, we remove the preview and any unfinished domain setup. We keep your files for 12 months from the lapse, after which we may ask you to send them again.

Domain name

The .com domain name is included in the price. You give us 3 names in order, and we register the first available one when you approve the preview.

Synan registers the domain name and holds it in its own account, and it stays dedicated to your website and email for as long as your subscription is active.

After your commitment period ends (or after the first paid year if you chose one year with no commitment), and if you owe nothing, we transfer the domain name to you free of charge on request. After the transfer, renewing it is your responsibility, and if you keep your website with us, the own-domain rules below apply.

If you want an extension other than .com, you pay its full price every year, and it appears in the order summary.

If you already have a domain name

Your own domain name stays in your name and you renew it yourself. This does not reduce the subscription price.

To connect it to your website, its nameservers must be moved to Synan and stay with us for as long as we host your website, unless we choose the second method of the Dabbrouha Anni service below. We do not launch the website until the connection is complete.

You can move them yourself free of charge, by following the steps in your account and checking the connection there. If you move them yourself, you are responsible for moving your existing records, such as email records. We are not responsible for a service that stops because a record was not moved.

Or you can request the Dabbrouha Anni (“let us handle it”) service, a one-time paid service whose price is shown before you pay. We take care of your email, subdomains and other records, and we make sure nothing you already use stops working.

In this service we choose the suitable method: either we copy your records and move the nameservers, or we keep your current DNS provider and connect the website on the www address, which then becomes the website's main address.

The 7-day rule above applies while you move the nameservers, or while we wait for access we need from you.

Email

You choose your email password in your account with us, and we do not store it. If you forget it, you can change it from your account.

You can add staff email addresses for a yearly fee per address, shown in your order summary.

Renewal and commitment

After the first year, you pay a yearly renewal fee to keep the hosting, domain name and email running. The amount appears in your order summary before you pay.

The subscription includes a two-year commitment starting on the day your website goes live. If other options are available, they appear with their prices in the order summary before you pay.

We remind you before and after the renewal date.

If the renewal is not paid: 14 days after the renewal date we suspend the website, after 30 days we suspend the email, and after 60 days we remove the website and email, and we may not be able to restore them.

Money-back guarantee

You can get a refund only if all of the following are true: your website is not live yet, you have not approved the preview, your project has never lapsed, and you have used the design change round and both preview revision rounds.

The refund covers the website price only: the base price and the plan you chose. It does not cover any add-on, the Dabbrouha Anni service, or a domain name we have registered.

Before refunding you, we may offer you an extra round of revisions free of charge.

Once the website is live, we do not refund the amount paid.

Hosting, code and content

Synan hosts the website and keeps its code. This means you get a working website hosted by us, not files you take with you.

Your content (text, photos, logo and information) remains yours, and you give us permission to use it to design, build and host your website.

You are responsible for making sure the content is accurate and that you have the right to use it, especially photos and logos.

Synan's credit on your website

The bottom of every website shows the text «تصميم: سِنان» (“Design: Synan”) with a link to wearesynan.com.

You can remove it permanently by buying white-label, a one-time paid add-on whose price is shown before you pay. The credit does not come back, even when your website is rebuilt.

After removal, your website's privacy note says “our website provider” without naming Synan.

Your website's analytics

We count visits to your website and taps on the WhatsApp and call buttons, without cookies and without storing visitors' IP addresses.

These analytics appear in your account free of charge for 30 days from the day your website goes live.

After that, analytics are a paid yearly add-on that renews with your website, and its price is shown before you pay. We keep counting, so if you buy it later you see all the analytics since your website went live.

We do not add other analytics or tracking tools to your website. On request, we add a Meta, TikTok or Snap pixel free of charge, and your website's privacy note then says that it uses cookies.

Acceptable use

You may not use the website or email for anything illegal, for harmful or fraudulent content, for anything that infringes the rights of others, or to send spam or malware. If this happens, we may suspend the service.

Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the website and email running, but we rely on providers and cannot guarantee that there will never be an interruption.

Synan accepts no liability for direct or indirect damages, for lost profits, or for any delay.

No financial claim may be made against Synan, except the refund set out in the “Money-back guarantee” section.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.

Any dispute is resolved exclusively before the courts of the city of Saida, Lebanon.

Updates to the terms and objections

We may update these terms. When we do, we send the new version to your account's email address.

The new terms become part of this agreement, and binding on both parties, as soon as they are sent.

If you do not object within two business days of sending, this counts as implicit acceptance of the change. If you object within that period, we examine your objection under the objection rules below, and the new version stays in force until we decide on it.

If the terms change before you pay, we also ask you to accept the new version in your account before paying, and this counts as explicit acceptance.

Each objection is examined case by case. No objection or claim may be brought collectively or on behalf of individuals and/or a group, in any form.
